An example of Compositing 3D models into still shots

Goal: Turning an ordinary factory parking lot into a secret cold war missile silo.

Note: All images taken with a tripod mounted camera using time laspe capture.

Original scene.

My jeep in the scene.

Me as a foreman.

Me as an onlooker.

Me as a climber.

Passing utility truck, this is useful.

A delivery van, can use this as well.

The missile and silo are modeled in Rhino 3D.

The model is texturized and matched against the original plate using lightwave 3D.

Textures are used from the plate and the camera angles are matched as well.

Here is the final shot after layering in all the additional scenes. Note the 'foreman' and 'climber' have been givin helmets and uniforms. Also note that the delivery van was painted black.
